It also comes with an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which lifts the pad when it transitions from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpet and rugs, thereby avoiding getting soaked by these soft surfaces. In addition it is also the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying functions. The pad can be used for rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it up and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag occasionally. This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its normal mop and vac-settings for approximately 160 minutes before beginning to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180 minutes Roborock claims and is at par other hybrids I've tested. It's a well-rounded, capable product. The only drawback is that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a tempting option for anyone who wants to ditch their old stick vacuums and mops. We would highly recommend this vacuum for those who can afford the cost. 2. Dreametech L10S Ultra The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop combo. The premium price is justified by the robust features, which include a massive vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a powerful obstacle avoidance system. The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is one of the most powerful robotic vacuums and mop combos available. In my testing it did well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4% of debris on all floor types and managing to lift long hair with no knots. The mops also performed well and produced excellent cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion and a strong dose of cleaning solution. However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced docking station that is multi-functional. The docking station empties the dustbin into a bag for dirt, refills the water tank to use for mopping and even dries your mop pads. It is equipped with a real-time danger detection system, and its sophisticated controls let you schedule periodic cleaning sessions. The L10S Ultra does not offer the best performance in removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. Additionally the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the top Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra. Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features it still requires regular maintenance. Its base station has to be cleaned out as well as the water and dust tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly to avoid unpleasant odors and mildew. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are purchased separately, will need to be replaced periodically too. I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're on a budget, I suggest an easier model that will allow you to save money while still enjoying clean hands at your home. It will need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do by cleaning the dock. If you want to use your own cleaner, you can add cleaning solution to dock. If you decide to use this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution that is more expensive than other robot brands allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions. Like most robots like it, the S1 Pro did well in navigation efficiency and coverage evaluations. It was quick to map a space and was able to navigate around furniture. Its multifunction dock empties the robot's dirtbag and replenishes its water tanks, washing and sanitizing mop pads as they go. The mopping system can clean a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is great for picking up pet hair and debris on carpets. The application that runs this appliance is complex, with a broad choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can manually clean all areas that this device maps or select individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've created. There are several mopping options which include SmartPlan — an algorithm that utilizes the mops' sensors to determine the most efficient method to tidy your home as it maps the area. Like the other Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in an organized way. Its “Normal” pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missed areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance works well, however it's not as sophisticated as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It is able to detect dangers like thick carpets but may not be able detect smaller objects such as electrical wires or rug tassels. The machine has a major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. robot vacuum cleaners could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a simple solution: the app has an option that lets you “clean up” at the conclusion of every vacuuming session.
